Portland United FC was founded on a simple idea: the Portland Metro deserves a competitive football club that belongs to the entire region. Not one neighborhood, not one pocket, but the whole of it — from the west side to the east, from the city core to the suburbs.

We are building four things at once. A competitive first team, capable of challenging at the top of the UPSL Oregon Premier Division from day one. A genuine development pathway, connecting community football to the competitive game. A community institution the Metro can rally behind. And a lasting legacy, built on sustainable foundations that let the club grow and endure well beyond its first seasons.
